After what feels like 3 months of very little rain around these parts it is good to hear it coming down quite steady outside now as I type this post.

Thankfully I am in the final stages of applying TO which doesn't seem to be bothered with weather conditions as much as other products and hope to be finished all of that by end of the weekend then leave things to cure for a week or so before doing the final polish.

As yours is a solid colour Ponch, I hope that most of the rain heads north up to us in SEQ so that you can get on with this build.

Did you find the bone nut that went missing?

Or feel free to send the rain down to the Monaro region. We're dryer than the missing bone nut atm.

It would be good if we could somehow harvest the water and distribute to needed areas....

@Waz - I've concluded the bone nut is missing... I've ordered another one - DB will do well out of me :) There is a $10 reward in our household if anyone can find it. If I do happen to find it down the track I can use in another bass....

Hahaha I can just imagine that!

So managed to get the undercoat on. Just a bit of touching up to do especially in the upper and lower horn cut outs where its laid a bit thin, that hopefully is a job for this weekend if the humidity drops off a bit

Hey Ponch, that towel looks like a prized possession from the 1970's and appears to be in 'as new' condition too. Almost looks like a graphic from an arcade game of that era.

God to see the weather gods have allowed you a small window to make some progress.

I think we used to have a blue version of that towel.

Cheers guys. I think my wife picked this up in London during mid 90s (I think from Fortnum and Mason department store near Carnaby / Regent St whilst I was exploring the guitar shops in Denmark St...) It would look good on a Pac Man cabinet!

Ha ha, you'll find the bone nut with all of the odd socks...if you ever do. The undercoat is lookin nice there ponch.
