I used 2000 straight up. It was pretty damn flat and I thought 2000 would be gentle enough. Nope. Not really worried, the tru oil has penetrated the wood well and this was always going to be a bit of a beater. Onwards and upwards. Gotta figure out the neck angle now.

The worst part is hoping I haven't forgotten anything. Don't think so, it all lined up really well as I was clamping it, but never 100% sure until the clamp comes off.
Got a new set of plastics cut. 3 ply, mmm hmm.
