Lookin' purtier already. ;)
Forgot to add a ground wire (flippin' idiot) but I managed to remove the bush, insert the wire, and replace the bush with minimal hassles. All told, it was a success.

Mate cant wait to see this assembled. Not a huge fan of mockingbirds but i do like this one.
Win. Looking like a beast.
You and me both, mate! Been a long time coming, but it'll be worth it.
Awww, Andrew! You always know just what to say. ;)
Got the wiring all done, and thankfully everything works:

And did a string test:

Then, the problem. Being a tune-o-matic means the neck would need relief, something it doesn't have. So, it was shim time. The neck also has some serious bow in the wrong direction, but I'm sure some of that will be rectified by full string tension and a truss adjustment.

Action very high at upper frets:

Went to my local Mitre 10 and they gave me a strip of veneer for free in order to do the fix:

Now I'm just waiting on a nut to finish this baby. Oh yeah!
Wicked. Almost there!
Woohoo! Looking great man.
Just gets epicer and epicer. If that's even a word
looking awesome Brodie and almost there. That photo close to the nut looks like its got a locking nut ? What style replacement nut are you using ? Looks like the black nut in the photo was the reason the strings were so high close to the nut
I don't normally like yellow, but I like this! Well done.
