I rekon if you got the thread size of the collar you could make a table fairly easily
Hoping to get some more work done today.
I decided to finally organise my tools better yesterday

Mostly just my guitar tools so far.
Still need to make racks for my chisels, planes etc

M20 bolt epoxied to some flat wood. 14mm hole works great!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4ec05a4f0c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cb6c7c11d1.jpg

Whipped up this little holder for all my gauged saws from stewmac. Onto the chisel holder tomorrow

Finished sanding tonight. Ive wet the body so I'll give it another sand tomorrow. Hopefully my shellac should turn up on wendesday so I can spray the body ready for grain filler
Change of plans now also. This is going to be a Butterscotch finish now, not a paisley.

Sprayed a couple of coats of shellac. Will let it sit for 24 hours before I sand and begin grain filling, which is definitely my most hated part of guitar building lol

McLovin the work station mate. You'll be stacking up the builds soon
Soooo back to a pasiley https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1ac621b57b.jpg
I was going to bind it top and bottom but thinking I'll burst instead now
Not sure what's the best finish to go with but
Has anyone used ironlak or similar graffiti paint? They've got great colours available.

Yes I used a couple of cans of their clear gloss.

Beyond stoked with how well this turned out. At this point I don't think I'll even be doing a burst on the edges. I'll probably just add a small burst to the neck pickup on the pickguard.
I'll start clear coating the body tomorrow

Looks fab! Judging by your application, it looks like you may have done that before?? [emoji16] What was the process? Vinyl printed, sides on, then front and back on and cut to where the sides overlapped? Either way, looking dope!
wow that's differently different and original, are you going to go over it with some sort clear? i really like it
I have one that looks just like that!
Said nobody. Ever.

Started clear coating today. Several mist coats just to seal before I start spraying heavier.

Looks great 👍🏻
Great paisley choice
Hey guys. I'd anyone able to help me out and tell me what size the tuner holes would be on my tele?
I'm not at home and I want to get some dowels to fill them. 10mm??
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Usually 9.5mm
Bloody 11.5. I bought 10mm dowel [emoji2959]

Ugh, sorry. All mine have been 9.5
EDIT: yeah, just checked not sure why yours is different.
That sucks. If you can't get direct fit size, best to get slightly bigger than you need then sand down. You can use a hand drill or drill press and spin them against a sanding block until just right.
