Thanks mate! This has been an experience that I’m glad I took on. This one will be finished soon and then I can get onto my new ES 1L kit. This one will be a more natural finish, perhaps Truoil. Hopefully one that my kids will keep when I’m gone, but I doubt it.😀
Looks great, love that shade of green.
To get your pics to appear you need to just paste the image address for a single and put (img) in front of it and (/img) after it, except use the '[' square brackets. If you 'reply with quote' to this comment you will see how I've done it. I normally paste all the links and then add the bits of forum code after to get multiples to show up.

Hey Sonic, I’ve been trying to post pics as per your directions and for the life of me I can’t sort it out. When you had a look at my last lot could you see all of them as a group.

First you need to upload the images to some hosting party. If you own your own website and domainname you can use that. Otherwise you can use some of the wellknown imagehosting sites. Then you can use the [img]...[/img] for making the images appear in you post. The dots must then be replaced with the path to your image. Like [i mg]http://www.yourdomain.com/images/1.jpg[/img]
If you have more than one image to show you can just do this:
[i mg]http://www.yourdomain.com/images/myguitar1.jpg[/img]
[i mg]http://www.yourdomain.com/images/myguitar2.jpg[/img]
[i mg]http://www.yourdomain.com/images/myguitar3.jpg[/img]
Please note that I put a 'space' in the opening [img] tag otherwise the forum thinks it is a 'real' path to an image ;)
Yes as Kick has said, you need to type the forum code before and after each image address that you paste into your post. You can't link an album (which is what you are trying to do at the moment).
Perfect :)
Is this working?

No Because there are two images in that link, so it's an album. You need to just post the link to one pic at a time. So I followed that link and right clicked on the fret image. There is a pop up that says 'copy image address'. i clicked that and then pasted it here and added the img code.

After you have dragged your images into Imgur and uploaded them, if you click on an image in the library this box will pop up

Set the size down the bottom to 'large thumbnail' (it will remember that for subsequent images in the same session) Then click on the 'BBcode' this will copy the link, with the forum code included, so you don't need to add the img and /img, it will just display.
Hello, long time no visit, but as xmas is now over its time to get back into it. Currently building a l/hand ES kit. Noticed that in order to straighten the next out I had to wind it up tight to the point where there is little or no adjustment left. The neck is reasonably straight but may require a bit more tightening (right adjustment) to get it right. Is this a problem that anyone else has encountered and is it fixable or should I consider getting another neck. I haven't attached the neck to the guitar as yet. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, I got really lucky and it turned out okay but a lot of mistakes along the way. Will need to get the wiring sorted out and then try and get the set up right. Put some pics of my current project on here too, if you can see them.

Hello. Just finished this project. Hopefully you can see the pics.
That is nice Melkor, it is a really lovely build result!
Looks really nice, please tell me it permanently takes pride of place on the dining table. Speaking as a Lord of the Rings fan, Melkor is the best user name.
Thanks mate, nah will live in its case (wife won’t let me). Your the only one to pick up on Melkor. The color was a complete fluke and turned way better than I thought it would. Used good quality parts:
Tonerider A4 humbuckers
Gotoh tailpiece and bridge saddle
Guitar Sauce wiring harness (great quality and service from a bloke in qld)
PBG bone nut
A hell of a lot of fun and took a year off and on!
That looks cracker mate! Well done.
