Applause!!!
well done Bill that looks and sounds great. Love the pickguard wondered if you cut that yourself but Pabs is the master. Also love the body reshaping. You have time to enter it into May GOTM
The new shape is killer Bill. Good on you for taking the punt and recutting it
Wow, nice one Bill. Even with insider knowledge this one looks quite different than what I was expecting.
Thanks all - & yeah Pablo even I didn;t really know what it was going to look like until I took the protective paper off right at the end :)
Wokka - once I get the headstock logo sorted and on I'll put it into GOTM. Although the incredible quality of the last few GOTM's is a little off putting!
Great Bass and great vid!
Great scratchplate, great bass! Plus kudos for standing up in front of the camera and playing!
I'd suggest getting a lead with a right-angled jack when using that bass. I'm always wary of the amount of leverage a straight jack can put on the jack socket and plate should you unwittingly drop something on it or hit it against something. If you can get them, a lead with a Neutrik silent jack on one end is superb, and the jacks come in straight and right-angled varieties. No more loud pops and buzzes inserting and removing the lead.
hey Simon you are on track for fastest Overlord of Music status, wow you are motoring along !
It comes from not working (due to illness) and having loads of time to post! The weather here is being fickle at the moment - either looks sunny but it's a cold north wind, or it's warmer but rainy, But by May I'll be able to work outside on the guitars so will have to slow down a bit on the post front.
Great job. That pickguard design is genius. (Really more of a fancy pickup surround than a pickguard)
