nice one Moose it's cool how Indian still build a classic old style bike - look forward to seeing how the TL-1 turns out

Awesome bike Moose. Looks heaps better than my kwaka!
HAHA good one Ponch, think it's time you asked the Frenchs Forest Highway Patrol (FFHP) for a new bike mate !
Cool looking retro ride there, Moose! 1800cc motor!! I've got a 1540cc motor in a Fatbob, and I thought that was big!
Be interesting to see how the TL-1 scheme comes out.
nice one Swanny so like this http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_AU...s/fat-bob.html
says its 103 cubic inches which is 1688cc bro - unless the earlier versions are 1540cc !
look what you started Moose !
Mine is the older version, a 2007 model with the 1540.

Nowadays I seem to ride the pushbike more, it's got a much less powerful engine!
nice looking bike Swanny and the road and mountain bikes look cool too.

nice one Jbird, looks like Moose's build diary has turned into a show off your bike thread hahha
looks like your dog is waiting for a ride on the 1977!
what's the black tank for on the 1977 for near the right rear shock for ? looks like some nice air brushing on the fuel tank
Oil tank... the gas tank is hand painted not airbrushed... its really good but old and has some chips

I'm puzzled Jbird, so the oil tank is used to keep the oil cleaner ? It cycles to and from the engine I presume. Must be an old bike engine design.
No clue honestly Haha but my 94 has one too

ok cheers Jbird, the only time I seen an oil tank on a bike is for 2 stroke oil. Better let Moose carry on with his Indian TL-1 build diary hahah

I love motorcycle and hot rod themed guitars so I'm actually excited to see what moose comes up with!!!

That's the Harley dry sump motor. They've made them like that since the 30's, though mine seems to be a wet sump design.
Cool rides, Jbird!
Moose set the bar high with his first guitar, so this one should be good!
that's what I thought Swanny must be a dry sump motor. The V8 supercars series run a dry sump motor, sump in the boot (or trunk for yanks haha)
