Great service!
Now it hits the snail mail from the UK without delay.
headstock logo looks unreal Beef.
Can't wait to see it applied !
Have to agree with you SB. But two of my four electric guitars have sedimental (oops sentimental) value due to who I got them from. The other two I have either made or are in the process of making. And I have a sell one/buy one deal going with my wife, so if I want more.......

All the colour coats are on.
Now to pile up the clear shiny.
Man, you want to enjoy rubbing stuff to build these things, eh?
While each application has only taken around 20 and 30 minutes from start up to clean up, I have made two passes with the base stain, seven passes with the enhancer/intensifier, and now I'm on to the clear, which I imagine will be about five to ten coats.
On top of that cleaning up the binding after each pass with the colour is a right royal PITA, but that is over now.
Wow, check out the figure on that neck!
I don't think I can take the credit for that, tho I do have some awesome German free-cut paper and sanded it from 220, 360, 500, 780, 1000, 1500 (which I swear is smoother than most toilet paper).
Luck of the draw, but you have definitely made the most of it. Lovely.
love the colour Beef, well done, and as Pablo says the grain in the neck is off the chain !
Look forward to seeing it after a few clear coats and no more rubbing stain off the binding !
Intense figuring and finish looks great!

Trying to show how the light catches the MOP style logo.
nice one Beef looks awesome, so these are just stickers ? very nice outcome looks legit
just stickers? I guess.
how do you mean
Its like a really fine foil.
There is no routing or engraving if that's what you mean.
yeah thats what I meant Beef. Good result it looks like its MOP routed
Wow it looks just like legitamite MOP in the wood! Damn that's cool!
nice result!
Coat, rub, coat, rub, coat, rub, coat, rub.....
thats the routine we all know Beef !!
As the coats go on, the novelty wears off :(
haha I hear you Beef.
Just focus on the finished build it will all be worth the effort now
Hello swining beef, I've bought the same kit and started sanding, your input here is fantastic, I've choose the karijini red and clear for neck and might apply clear on the side of the guitar, never done this before myself, I'm hopping to finish it nicely, this kit is awesome and would be a waste to ruin it lol...
Sounds like a good plan!
One thing I will do next time...
Focus on the glue near the binding and joints.
There was a fair bit of glue on mine, and while I sanded it like a bastard, the stains did not take the way I would have liked.
There is a very skilled craftsman on this site, who had a similar problem with a tele build, and he utilised a method of 'tattooing' the timber to get the stain to take in an even fashion.
I didn't get around to bolting stuff on this weekend.. but soon :)
This is the finish it gets to keep.
