With all those top quality craft beers in WA such as Little Creatures and Matilda Bay I am surprised you haven't used some of their labels? With you being a Freeo supporter surely you have been down there and sampled some brews at Little Creatures? I know the price of grog is pretty dear in Perth but those brands are worth it and would add an Australiana flavour to your finish.
Hey Waz. Thanks for the suggestions. I have got a LC IPA label (dark green) on there but will get a LCPA label on there. Matilda bay haven't been brewed in WA for a few years the brewery is in Melbourne. I might try get some Feral and Bootleg labels are some of my favorite WA beers. Don't worry this is the first prototype there will be more to follow so I can do a WA themed beer label axe in the future

Didn't see any Gwen Steffani on there... Looks like you need to drink a bit more to cover some of those gaps...
@Pest yeah they are in Dandenong South.
@Bman think there is a couple of gwen labels but I'll get some more on plus I'll cover the head stock as well
Looks like you've been hanging out with some German Hippie Backpackers and just cleared out all the empties left behind in their rented Wicked Campervan.
so I've got all the labels on and it's had one coat of clear. Sanded some of the joins of labels so it's a flatter and got another clear coat on. I'll have to sand back any proud labels again
couple more pics. I did get some PBG stickers on there so Ads will be happy !
Looks good Woks, would have taken a fair bit of quaffing to collect all the labels!
haha cheers Ponch, that's the best part of this build collecting the labels ! Luckily I have collected my favourite beer bottles and display on behind the bar. Now I've started the 2nd beer label axe I will need to drink more beer - bugger

@ Ben, sure I may save the chrome mirror guard for another chrome axe attempt. White or black pickguard may work better I will post some pics next mock build. Was it you that suggested I put bush chook/wife beater (Emu Export) label on ? hahahha
@ DB there may even be some of your beer labels on there but yes building guitars is thirsty work ! It was probably 2 or 3 nights worth DB as most of the craft beers on there aren't cheap
Looks awesome Warren, have to agree with Ben, messed up white pickguard would look better.
Its been a while since I have checked out the "Chrome ST-1" thread. I think it might have still been chrome!!
@ Rob cheers mate I have to agree with you and Ben, should be fun messing up a white pickguard.
It's no longer chrome as the clear coats made the chrome dull and almost grey in places so instead of sanding it back this was a much easier solution !

got a bit more done yesterday. The plan now is Pablo is cutting me a HSH clear pickguard so now I've put labels in the cavities and chiselled out the single pickup routes and made the pickup area a swimming pool shape so more room for labels !
Got a few Pitbull stickers on so Ads should be happy about that !
Got third clear coat on, think it will need at least another 3 coats to build it up
looks great, a little less chrome than originally intended though...

It gets me every time, I expect to see chrome and get the beer labels!
