Hm. That's something to think about, thanks! I'm not a big fan of too much high-end, so I think I'll shield 'em. I had no idea it had that additional effect.
I just did my first coat, it really does go a lot further than I'd expected :)

Hahahah. Nice :P
Thats a tasty green man. What dye is that.

Wow... Just wow...
This is one of the tastiest LP builds I've seen. I would pay good money for something this good.
Cannot wait for end product and a sound demo! :D
well done Bec that looks stunning after clear coats. That green really bounces !
Thanks guys :) :)
Just glued the neck. Getting excited!

hows the action on the strings Bec ? I'm hoping to glue the neck on the same model axe this weekend
Yep you've nailed that finish Bec, nicely done;-)
sweet as, looks so good now, the colour and with the binding. gonna be amazing this one
I'm no pro, but the action is looking pretty good. Didn't have to mess with the neck position much at all. Had a fair bit of trouble with the bridge though 'cause one of the pre-drilled holes was about 2mm off. Still, managed to get everything in place with some... gentle persuasion (mallet) :P
Looking awesome Bec! Coming down the home straight..
cheers,
Gav.
Awesome work Bec.
Shielded and earthed... so shiny! :P

This is all class, Bec, very well done
Yep, this is looking ace. Tidy work.
Nice copper shielding job Bec. Beware you may have to scrape some of the shielding off where pot lugs may make contact. I've had to do this to a few builds where the pots are recessed, especially the top two neck pots are recessed deeper.
I presume the yellow wire is an earth wire from the bridge posts ?
Almost done! Just got a little bit of fret buzz to sort out and she'll be finished :D

Thats looking great. Seriously impressive first build.
Looks fantastic, very nice result.
Beautiful job! Love this LP of yours. The colour just rocks and that burst is superb. Amazing work.
Cheers,
Gav.
Well, that's looking GREAT, Bec.
Rick
Wow, Bec. The colour and depth you have on that is gorgeous. You've gotta be happy with it.
As soon as you get them thar gremlins out I'd love to see a vid of it in action!
All the intensity and cool fire of a very valuable emerald.
Hard to believe it's your first build.
GOTM?
AWESOME . I do love a green guitar and this one is damn sexy
Well done Bec, she looks simply amazing! (I hope you're gonna trim those strings before it goes in GOTM)
Thanks guys! I'm a bit proud of it :)
Heheh. Don't worry, I'm gonna trim the strings, just need to take them off to tinker with it a bit first :)
well done Bec looks fantastic in the sun. Might have to try a black/green burst LP, I happen to have a LP-1M ready to build
that is a hot looking axe Bec, you've done a terrific job, well done
Simply stunning, and its your first build!
