I've always loved that Aramathine LP Wokka. I'm amazed that we haven't seen it entered before this!
cheers,
Gav.

@wokka - looks superb as always man, the finish is perfect.
@tony - Lovin' this colour, nice job man!
@lunaticthighs - Daaaayum!! Call me a sucker for shiny things, this is just freekin' ridiculous. I'm literally dribbling right now, a true thing of beauty.
This GOTM just got reaaaal interesting..
Looney - that Ricky is a thing of beauty man! Amazing job.
cheers,
Gav.
LT that Rickie is awesome! A worthy entrant for sure - top job
wow 3 late entries on the last day, Looney that Ricky bass is sensational.
Just glad I'm not a judge this month, so Trevor best of luck being guest judge !
Maybe a free hardware upgrade on your next kit purchase for winning gotm could be implemented. Damn sure it'd entice me to buy another kit ASAP if I ever won!
All these axes past and present that have made it into gotm would look great on my walls and ceilings here at home .!!!!.
Well done boys and girls . Keep em coming
That RC isn't going to finish anywhere near 5th Looney!
Top work guys. Some lovely looking guitars this month.
Lots of pretty guitars this month!
Ok, so it looks like we have another 5 amazing entries this month.
We've got Gavin's "Pollocked" RC-1, Matt's stunning carved SV-1L, Wokka's LP-1 Amaranthine, LunaticThigh's (haha) RC-4 and VH2580's IB-7 in Burnished Copper.
Such completely different guitars these 5 are.
I'll get the judges onto task and hopefully have a decision by the end of the week.
Thanks
Good luck one and all.
cheers,
Gav.
They are some stunning guitars there guy's . Nice work from all of you.
best of luck all entrants, looks like Looneys RC4 has the most likes on FB so far !

haha Looney you are underestimating your own build, I'd say you have a very good chance of winning or at least a runner up
Wow......... Talk about giving the Rookie Judge a hard job !!!Some really great looking guitars and this is a real pleasure to judge ! Good luck to all
Cheers Trev
good luck to you Trev deciding !
and the winner is?
I was wondering that too, Stan. Maybe they're all just too good and no-one can decide.
Reckon Adam is waiting on some of the judges to return from their hastily organised overseas trip to Rottness....
Damn right Craig, too close to callQuote:

Hello.....is there anybody........OUT THERE?
Apologies for the delay folks, we were just waiting on some final scores.
Ok, the Runner Up for September Guitar of the Month is Gavin Turner with his "Pollocked" Stone Roses Tribute RC-1.
http://www.pitbullguitars.com/wp-con...8/00zu3-no.JPG
"Seeing the progression of this build, it has been something amazing to see. Wonderful concept, beautifully executed. Hard to find anything to fault with this one."
"Another classy build from Gavin. Fanbloodytastic. I would be scared to pick it up in case I damaged it."
"Another freakishly beautiful RC. The patience of Job unless explosives were used. Gav's guitars are always top quality and this is certainly right up there."
"As you probably know I'm a sucker for tribute guitars! but this one would really catch your eye! great eye for detail and the application of the finish is done really well. As always Gavin has done another great job and the little extras such as the bone nut and truss rod cover completes this awesome looking guitar!"
And, it must be the month for Rickenbacker tributes, the winner of September Guitar of the Month is Lunatic Thigh's RC-4.
The judges were throwing out some 10's for this one.

"What an awesome looking Bass !! The Chrome hardware and the mirror pick guard really sets it off - Love the head stock design with the truss rod cover that mirrors the fret inlays !! Great job !"
"Beautiful, Elegant, classic and WOW! Sigh! I would learn to play bass just to play this guitar."
"I love this Bass. This would be the one I would pick up in a shop."
"Totally want this bass. No question. If it was on the market, I’d be considering selling a guitar to buy this one."
Congratulations LunaticThighs.
Well done Looney! That bass is stunning.
Congrats Looney and to all the other entrants. Was another amazing month.
cheers,
Gav.
I guess that means you get to enter the MK this month Gav. :)
Well done Looney and Gav, very hard to pick a winner as both were deserving. See you in the Judges circle this month Looney!
All stunning entries this month but couldn't agree more about this decision. I'd give Looney's bass a 10/10 all day long,
Congrats.
Congratulations Looney on a brilliant build and also congrats to Gav for runner up. I probably would have scored the same winners. I had to laugh when Looney entered and saying his chances of winning were low. Not many builders have scored a perfect 10/10 so well done.
Also well done on all the other entries are making judging very difficult.
Also a great job done by judges and Trevor can relax now and get on with his next build !
awesome bass and awesome username lunaticthighs
Wow thanks guys. While i am really happy with how my build turned out, especially being my first I never dreamed it would even be considered in the same league as the other entries. I am in awe of the quality of guitars being produced by this community.
Congrats to Gav on runner up, I know it got my vote on Facebook truly a stunning guitar.
Cheers Alan
All superb entries this month, well done judges!
Great work Alan and Gav, first class axes all the way
Congratulations!
Congrats on your sterling effort :)
