Thanx agin gents!
Righto after a complete stuff up had to remove all the 1st coat...mixed up my thinner used white spirit instead of Turps and it crinkled ..but get this....only on the purple heart. never seen that before..so all off and here we go again...i used a HVLP spraygun this time, used just the can on the 1st go, then mixed some more, but stuffed up the thinning..
so here we go again round number 2! ting ting ting!

Oh and just learned you cant let it dry in the sunshine as the purple heart once again is the darker material and the heat absorbtion caused the clear to bubble! oh the tests and trials dont you just love them!?
That's looking good!
Thanx!
All strung out ! whoo hoo! sounds great so far..now to finish off the back plates and decide on full floating with 9's or rigid with 10's i prefer 9's and full floating but dont have a 10's with rigid so we see...

that is superb VH, a quality build, interesting and it just looks cool
That's it for you! I can't see any reason to make or own another guitar, sell it now and you can continue to make more, let me just give you my mailing address...
Thanx...
the next one is gonna be a corker! I hope! hehe these things sure test your skills or prove the lack thereof, so hey onwards and upwards I say, bring on the challenges ...not a lot to do to finish this one ...except move the whole bridge forward 5mm so it can set the internation!! damn! I dont like doing that but at least the cnc will be accurate and quick also need to drop the pocket another 3 mm or??? tilt the neck so I can speed up the neck..its a good strummer but lacks the low profile for fast string transitions, The aftermarket LowFrofile FL dont have any setup data so have to do it on what I can find on the net and this one didnt hit the spot in terms of correct scale.. I did measure the scale 100% but obviously they bridge design put the internation points a little aft of the correct spot so needs moving, have another one so now have those numbers...
sooooo NEXT!!!! hehehe have 4 necks and some wood to go!
Im really after learning how to do neck-through designs so thats my goal !
Looking amazing. Beautiful work!
here ya go a couple sound file,s
cheers
