Frets were basically level straight out the box so levelling and polishing was easy, best of any neck so far. Sanded and first coat of TO.

Now just tossing up on whether I try and do the sunburst with Stain or buy a Sunburst Nitro rattle can kit.
Mate thats a sterling job with the string through holes:cool:
Yes. 229 at moment reduced From 299 on guitaraust. Does include everything though, sealer, colours, clear and polish.
As I said was going to try sunburst with stains by hand, every trial I did was crap, so I splashed out on a 3 tone nitro sunburst kit from Guitaraust.com.au $229 reduced from $299, shipping inc, bit pricey and no guarantee I'll get it right, but here's hoping. Kits pretty comprehensive;
2 x sanding sealer
1 x Black
1 X Dark Brown/Tobacco
1 x Light Brown
2 x Gloss Clear
3 x different polishes plus clothes
320 through to 2000 Wed and Dry
Gloves

First coat of sanding sealer done. Fingers crossed.
You are braver man than me. Not confident enough to do anything other than a one colour stain.
