I am doing a wipe on poly finish. After a couple of coats this is how it is coming up. I am pretty happy with it so far. I got a couple of parts that is slightly thicker but I suppose a bit of light sanding should flatten it out.

Really sorry to hear that mate. I’ve been through a similar situation before and it’s such a bad feeling. Since I live in Brisbane too I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for it as I’m constantly looking at gumtree etcQuote:
