Further progress. Going to source plastic for the scratchplate.

Succumbed to the irresistible urge and put another coat of finish on. That'll do it. Cut out the scratchplates and will await the results of the clearcoat experiment on them; dull matte black is exactly that- dull.

And finally put the dummy pickups on to test the look. I'm quite pleased so far.😁

Updated fingerboard. To be finessed significantly.

And we're done! Pic 1 is the finished product, and pic 2 the very pleased cast and crew proving that it arrived safely.
