That gave me the word that I used for the 5 links that I give on the previous post ! ^^

So, I will take the #1st rated by amazon, it give me a bit of guarantee I think ^^
So, for a final security check (if you wish):
- My "Toupret Mastic" Wood Filler
- My Straightedge
- My Drill bits
- My Sandpaper
- My fret file
Have I missed something?
All objects are good?
In any case, I wanted to thank you for wasting your time for me! I am very grateful!
I think the drill bits you've got are overkill - I'd go better quality and fewer with a bigger range say 1mm - 8mm -
Holes you will need to drill:
* neck pilot holes x 4,
* pickguard holes x ~10,
* tuner holes x 6.
Pickguard and tuners can probably use the same bit, neck will need a bigger bit (can't remember the size ATM). From memory I use a 1/16" or 1.5mm bit for the tuners.
The recommendation about brad point bits - these are the sort of bits being recommended...

Hope that helps.
Salut Maxence,
Good luck!
Fred
Edit: sorry guys forgot the English version! Was just telling Maxence what grain filler was in French and was advising him to go and check the French equivalent to the big green shed.

très international.
Out of curiosity, what is the French equivalent to the BGS?
I don't remember the names of the shops that are as bad as the BGS...
There are equivalents that look like warehouses but there's a lot more competition than here.
From the ones I mentioned, Castorama is on the cheaper end but still looks more like a shop than a warehouse and Leroy Merlin is nicer.
Then in the centre of Paris you have the dream of the DIY shop, the 'BHV'... with prices that go with the location. I always go for a stroll when on holidays...

Intriguing - I'll have to make sure I visit the BHV if I ever manage to make it back to Paris!
