High five man. 6 for me, it'll be 7 on 24 May
it'll be three for me on 15th September, took me 25 years of a packet a day, giving up the best thing I've done
Pack a day until 1976, went cold turkey and haven't touched one since.
Still love the smell of a good cigar or pipe though but not tempted
A 50g pouch woukd last me 6 days and I've been off 'em for 11 years ago now, with the aid of the patches...
@Dave; absolutely love the smell of a good pipe tobacco, eh; there was a proper tobacconist shop in the main street of Jersey that used to mix his own blends and I would often go in just to smell the tobacco - how can anything that smells that good be so bad for you?! :D
Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore loved the smell of napalm in the morning, but napalm certainly isn't good for you!
I used to use Naptha when prepping for Aircraft Spray painting with Polyurethanes that are now stored at toxic waste facilities, and several of my compatriots died from Leukaemia.....
The smell of port royal pouch tobacco still stays with me. Haven't smoked in 17 years but that aroma still reminds me of sneaking away for a furtive rollie with the mates out back of the school grounds. Dumbest "Cool" thing I ever did, 1 month to take it up as habit and ten years to give it up.
