I did one coat of sanding sealer. Two coats of white undercoat. Two coats of black which was then wet sanded at 1200 grit down to a flat finish. Then finished with one coat of black and one coat of clear finish whilst the black was still very wet. (basically the clear coat went on straight after the black coat without waiting). Hopefully it will turn out OK.

And the RC-4 Bass is at this stage. Got the burgundy colour more where I wanted it to be on the RC-1 this time round. :-)

Making some good progress and like the colour of the Bass.

That's a cool color :) Finish on the guitar is looking awesome.

Been doing a bit more on both RIC's and got a Pitbull Jagmaster thingy going too. I was fortunate enough to own a white Fender Jaguar brand new from 1986 - 1990 when I sold it to move from (at the time Sydney) to London to Schaffhausen CH. This was way before fender Jaguars were even considered cool by anyone apart from a handful of indie musicians here in Oz. I could hardly even sell the thing at half price.....at the time.

Nice red on the bass.
How are you coping doing finish coats with both necks joined?
-
A bit "iffy" actually! LOL :-) But it's all good fun.

Makes things a bit more clumsy trying to flip them to do the other side as I found out on the EX-1 being only set neck build I have attempted.
