Well. The secret's not that mindblowing really... I've seen it done by others before. The essence of it all is to keep the paint-object roomtempered. And put the spray cans (yes i use cans) in a bucket of a little over hand-warm water.. then take the bucket o' cans and guitar out to the spraying area. Spray THIN coats, as it's much easier to get laquer runs in cold weather... let the guitar hang as long as you dear, but take it inside before the laquer freezes[emoji51][emoji15]. Then take the guitar inside and let it dry/cure in a ventilated room. As it still will be somewhat wet to the touch. And will have a good amount of fumes to spread still... not the ideal approach. But it seems to work out ok.. do i achieve "custom shop" results? Probably not. But I get better each time[emoji14]
