nice one Bman did Ads give you the kit to build as its a new kit ?
I'd think about a screw in bridge as Waz suggested, too much string tension for the 3 point bridges. Think every ESB-4 builder has had problems with it lifting

I had an SG Bass made in Japan in the 70's, wish i still had it, was easy to play, maybe maybe maybe.
Looks good Brendan.
Best thing you can do with the 3 point bridge is to tie a length of string to it, swing it rapidly around and launch it at your least favourite neighbours roof.
Then get a Babicz.
So I'm seeing that there is little love for the three post bridges. Will have to have a look in my box of tricks to see if I can come up with something a little more loved...
I've had a fossick and the only bridge I can find is the original (not my favourite style - hence the replacement) or replacement one for my ash Jazz, which I've pre drilled. May give this one a go - see how it works out - worst case I get to sand it all back and start again - worse things have happened (and won't be the first time)!
ahha classic, by the sounds of it some neighbors of forumites may have enough parts on their roofs to build an entire kit ahha
sure DB's neighbor has a few iceman and mosrite bodies on his roof haha
Sanding almost finished - loving the grain - even on basswood it seems to be pretty special.
looks good Bman, what colour stain is going on this ? Looks like the pot/switch/jack layout is the same as a SG guitar.
Don't see too many bass guitars with a pup selector switch !
So maybe not a stain...
