(**the sound of basswood hitting the pavement**) uh oh! a combination of me placing the sealed body balanced precariously and within reach of a 1 year old and 3 year old and a 1 year old and 3 year old being themselves!!!

Ok so, I haven't done much woodworking since yer 10 and i'm pretty sure I went backwards since then. Don't let this man near a saw!

...followed by more sanding and smoothing of the neck.
I'm not totally satisfied yet will revisit on another day.....
That headstock looks fine, don't be too hard on yourself. What's your plan re the dings?
headstock looks good Andy, good effort !
bummer about the body hitting the pavement, basswood is pretty soft. Try and iron and wet cloth you may lessen the size of the dents
well done Andy, as DB says there's always a workaround.
In the meantime leave the body and neck somewhere safe so the kids don't knock off the bench again !
Good progress Andy. Yes, and watch out for the terror toddlers! Any object of any importance will draw them like a magnet until the item has been dropped, chewed, eaten, thrown, drawn on or all of the above!
@ Ponch have your kids ruined any of your builds ?
