Honestly, that's getting a bit too excessive for relicing for my liking, it almost looks like a caricature.
It's possible, his ex missus could have been doing it in a fit of jealousy seeing as he was spending more time with the guitar rather than with her, but we don't know that for sure....lol
My comment was actually aimed at that first pic in this thread,, the one with the guitar with the neck attached at an odd angle and the pickguard all broken up.
I really dislike relicing, I like to think of it as factory munted
if you want a guitar with 'character' play it, gig it, earn it.
It shouldn't come from sandpaper ,,,,,, sigh.
Hey Bruce, I agree with relic'ing guitars, they should be road worn and gigged to look like that, not sanded
