As DB always tells me cheap tools give cheap results so worth spending a bit more on a fret crowning tool.

yeah it was a tele thinline. i figured it wasnt worth splashing out on a better tool cos i didnt think id do more than 1 kit, but i think it would deffos be worth having for in the future. hopefully once my tax return comes through ill step up and get another kit to start!
Ben I don't think anyone on the forum has stopped at 1 kit hahhaha Warning the more kits you build the more GAS you get haha
Another way is to use Artists spray adhesive.
A can will last for years and is much easier than tape and CA glue.
Just spray the paper though, or you may have problems getting the paper off......
Here is a way to have any sandpaper grade you want securely stuck to whatever you want, and to also be easily removable....and it's NOT double sided tape use
Items needed.
Sandpaper.
Masking tape
Super Glue
