Quick mock build - dont know whether black hardware/pickups will look better or not - tomorrows job

@ Gav only custom in that they washed the colour out of a Standard Union Jack - awesome service as well. had a proof within two hours of ordering and payment.
@ Stan doing my head in, so slow trying not to scratch /cut guitar finish and get a good edge.

I like the style of this build. The Union Jack wrap looks quite subtle & interesting in those washed grey tones.
Full colour Jacks can be a bit too garish IMHO. Those skunk dudes have some other nice designs too.
I reckon the silver metal bits might win out . . . .

This looks fantastic! Personally I would go for the silver hardware with this colour scheme.

Fantastic work there Tony! I'd stick with the chrome hardware, keeps the black and white contrasted well.

Personally I would go silver so as not to put hard lines (bridge and stop) through the union jack. Any chance of a photo of the side edge Tony? Very interested to see how this went on.

VERY cool Tony. Love the faded look.

@Gav photos of the side of the guitar and initial trim. Gradually doing minor trims to get some of the little jagged edges cleaned up.
Using an art knife and difficult to stay on the edge.

@ wokka did a trial of the offcuts with tru oil and a spray paint clear and neither had any chemical effect on the vinyl.

did a mock up of black hardware and definitely staying silver.
