At the risk of resurrecting an old thread, are we looking at a Pit Bull Community kit here (http://pitbullguitars.com/?page_id=4...iewtopic&t=234)? Definite interest, Tele body (in honour of Adam), and something (in terms of kits) that's unique.

I think that now that we have a good mix of Bass builders and electric builders the time has come to introduce a baritone or two and given the interest in this thread it would be a welcome addition to the stable to have a Bari-Tele and Jag on board.
while we might like to claim this as a community guitar it is more of a community inspired addition? I might be wrong but I think the concept of a community guitar is more about us designing something that is different from the standard options available?
Certainly, none of the other kit suppliers that I have seen offer a Baritone option of any description!
Just as a reminder to myself and for anyone interested, it is a 27" neck, with string gauge 13, 17, 20, 42, 52, and 65!
sweet can't wait to see if the baritone kits will be available and how much they will cost. Never knew the string gauges, nice and chunky !
Well done Gav and DB for getting this idea off the ground !
Guys our supplier needs more detailed specs. Can someone (Gav or DB) put together the specs, for a Tele and Jag baritone, and ill forward to the supplier.

30 inch neck and .084 top string - wow now that would be a beast !
after a quick look only difference I can see between the Tele and Jag are the Jag has longer scale (30"), floating trem and heavier strings on the Jag.
sweet I'd want to order one of each for sure !
That's correct! Unless DB wants to change the Bari-Jag specs!Quote:
