some restaining to do again on the neck edges, no worries.
also to go on is the generously provided blackwood headstock veneer (many thanks DB you are a true gent and Wokka for getting onto him), which should blend it all in nicely
the fretboard was left deliberately thick. the neck gets quite thin, especially where the truss rod pops out, and adds extra strength to the neck, i hope.
i have wide ish hands with shortish fingers and it feels fine to me, so you wont have to have hands like Steve Vai or Buckethead to play it...
great to see some progress on the build Stan, looking great. Fingerboard looks good. Nice to have some meat to play with and as you say give the thinner parts near the nut/TR some more strength

Yeah i imagine it is getting a bit thin at the point the TR exits the headstock, but should be fine now....
will need to do a custom tall nut for it

Is the fingerboard radiused (looks like it in the photos) and what radius you going for ?
yes it's radiused, 12".

I am almost ready to forgive you for sanding the original finish off it now LOL :) :p
