That's cool, cause I totally stole your veneer on the headstock idea, preping a bit of ebony for my inlay.

Looking fantastic. Love the white decal Barge!

I have a hard enough time switching between the neck and the bridge whilst playing let alone pushing and pulling lol.Quote:

haha no worries Barge, I'm fairly new to it as well but all you need is two push/pull pots and you will be able to split the humbuckers coils to get a bigger range of sounds.
Sure the SD's will punch out some great tones !
I'll leave that shit to the big dogs, I can definitely see how it would be a handy feature though!
Ya never quite know how these ideas are gonna work out Gav until you actually try them out but yeah... It seems to work, thanks man!Quote:

so many great touches mate.
I hope it is ready in time for this months GOTM, because mine will be ready for the next one - and I dont want to be going up against this one!
I'm a big fan of all the little details going on here.
@stan,pablopepper
Hey cheers guys, I guess the way I look at it is it's not everyday you get to build the guitar of your dreams so why not make it count, more importantly I had to sell quite a beloved piece of studio equipment (sniff sniff) in order to fund this so I kinda' have an obligation to get it right.
Jeez Stan I don't think I'd want to be going up against "The Dark Knight" that thing's gonna look fricken badass once that satin finish is all buttoned up with those black SD's at the heart of it.
Can't wait to see this finished. What a beautiful piece of ART.
