Ok, so heads up with this build if you are ever doing it. the saddle posts for the 12 string have different bushings than the 6 string, they are not interchangeable, check this before you belt the bushings into the body.
I had to pull mine out (thank god I coated it in wax before I put them in), the body got a love bite though....:mad:

Bugger! I bet there were some donations to the swear jar when that happened!
Damn, don't you hate that... You'll hardly notice the ding under the strings though.

Bummer all right but as Gav said there will be plenty of strings going on around that ding to help cover it up.Quote:

Thanks guys, yeah its under the 12 string bridge, I reckon I (sorry someone else) wouldn't notice it.
I haven't tried steaming it out Simon as most of the ding is in the Tru oil (its fairly thick).
