I agree, unless your airbrushing fine detail a gravity gun dual action will do exactly what you want ie: bursts etc...and ofcause a whole solid colour. I use the airbrush because I have a few but it does take some covering as I find to put the correct amount of reducer that auto air requires takes for ever to cover even just a burst. I now spray dyes instead of paint.

You've done it! you've transformed it from Stryper, to W.A.S.P., a much better LA 80's band!..

Will just leave this here. Found it today at supercheap. Catalogue special. While it had no spray gun, one that'll do what you need would be around $50.

Same compressor I got as well and does the job fine.

Hey folks; long time, no see.
Been flat chat with university the last few weeks/months, so haven't had the time to devote to this baby.
I've changed my plans, as the original choice of finish just was not working out. Splotchy and yuck, so I swapped. Luckily I didn't have to strip the whole body, I just wet sanded the splotches out and started from there. Here she is, in all her satin glory:

Came across one problem though... I put a dent in my beautiful paintwork... :(

But, most importantly, the star of the show, AndyPort's wicked decal has come away unscathed and looks better than ever!

That is freaking awesome. You've both come through big time - Andy with the sticker and the overall paint job.
