Afraid they are a "generous" M, L or XL, Shazz, so you'd be an "S", which we don;t have. You'll have to throw the M in an extra hot wash a couple of times.
Well the glamour shots are done and with 5 days to spare - she's going in GOTM April!! Woo - personal happy dance
Congrats on getting her finished, Shazz, looks great! I bet you're busy playing her in now.
Words fail me, just had a look at the pics in GOTM it's stunning.
Fantastic Shazz, I love it.
Bravo Shaz, it came up a treat!
That has turned out splendidly Shazz! I love the grain detail on the back, it looks like a couple of faces singing away to me (or perhaps i should step away from the stain and solvents for a while???). i like the work you've put into the one colour burst, it really sets it off.
Congrats, thats a fantastic build result.:D
Just looking at your pics in the GOTM page, and ah, um Shazz, your ahem G-string umm tuner is out of line....
Sound check is being uploaded to the tubes as I type. Woo!!

I've enjoyed the thread and soon Doc may overtake 55 pages !
Thanks Wokka! The phone recording doesn't give it as much justice as the flesh!
She is already in GOTM April :) got a lot of good competition this month! doc should def take over haha
Sounds good looks good, thanks for the demo i enjoyed it.
Well done Shazz, some really nice tones coming out of that. I have a feeling your clip may bump the sales of the GR-1SF.
Checked out the video clip you uploaded to youtube, she sounds really good, well done mate, hope you do end up winning GOTM for April.
You'll have to see if you can get your husband to buy you an amp for your guitar, something like a Vox AC30 perhaps.
On most of the guitars I've seen with Bigsby Trems on them, the strings went under the round bar on the front of the trem before going to the bridge rather than over it.
Nailed it! :)
Thanks Doc! I'm super happy with it :) I really am happy in the video I'm just sick at the moment haha
I really want an orange micro terror - I have a real love for orange amps!
Ahh that makes a lot of sense with the trem! I'll see how it goes for now by next restring will try that way!
For sure, I have a little Peavey Backstage Plus amp that I fixed up last year, it's the loudest 35 watt amp I've ever heard, the original speaker needed replacing so I replaced it with a new 10 inch Jensen C10Q that I bought online, did some other mods to the amp and it's working great so far, even made a footswitch for it too.
Well done Shazza, you've got to be happy with that. And I love your playing too.
I enjoyed your playing on the youtube video clip too, it doesn't take much to get used to a trem system, try listening to some of your favorite guitarists that use a trem and see if you can emulate what they do.
The guitar is said to be one of the easiest instruments to play, but one of the hardest to master, if you keep putting alot of work into the playing of it, it is going to reward you.
Once you get used to the trem system it will open up lots of expressive possibilities, what I like to do is what I call the "Surf Shimmer", you basically play a barre-chord, such as an e-minor at say the 7th fret, strum the strings, then use the trem to slowly drop the pitch of the chord a bit and then bring the pitch back up, works great with a clean sound with a bit of reverb on it, have a listen to Hank Marvin from the Shadows.
