It solves a problem and will fit easily into the existing holes in the body. I suppose I could have ordered some other stuff to make the freight worth the effort.

I cheated - i knew that my j bass was coming up to a time where I was going to be sitting around watching dingotone dry so needed something to work on in the meantime.
Since it arrived however, real life has been getting in the way though :( It did look very nice out of the box though.
However, the beast you are planning is the holy grail of PBG kits so you have to live that dream!

I have been away for a few days....nice welcome home....a box from PBG. :)

One x Jazz Bass neck pickup
One x Humbucker neck pickup
One x switchcraft jack
Two x treble bleed circuits.

On order:-

One x humbucker bridge pickup....paid for...but waiting for stock.

Wow...that only leaves the kit itself and the Grover tuners. Power bill was also in the mailbox...so that final order can wait until April. Oooh getting close soon.

Maybe I should ask if this can be moved to a Build Diary? Or, start a new thread. :)

nice one Ozz, getting closer to ordering the kit. Don't you hate it when unexpected bills come in and delay the kit purchase.

If you PM one of the moderators they can shift this thread to the Build diary section, would be a shame to lose 14 pages of the planning !
