Now that is a cool green machine
Headed to the workshop today to start assembling but i forgot to buy strings!!!! Allbi have is the set of 9's that came with the kit.
It's a holiday here so cant go out and buy strings today.
Going to use those for assembling and testibg i usually play on ernie ball slinky 010's but that's on my superstrats i was thinking of upping a gauge for the les paul. To get more tone out of the duncans, power slinky or skinny top heavy bottom, i'm sure i can get used to thel in no time.

Very VERY cool guitar man!! It looks awesome!!
I've got some questions for you if you don't mind?!
The inlays - did you take the black ones out or just 'deepened' them to fit the picks? Also what size punch did you use(my inlays also have to come out they're going orange)?
The paint on the headstock - My GF will be hand painting the body and the headstock on mine also, what paint did you guys use(I'm not oiling/staining mine where the paint is going only clear lacquer from a can)? I am thinking normal acrylic paint will be okay?
Thanx dude and happy building!
