Anyhoo, got a bit done in between other jobs..
Bridge plate cut, shaped, routed and slide bars for saddles in.
Next up a few shots of the saddles roughed out.

BTW Barge - currently working on 2 guitars and one bass. Currently play both pretty much evenly, though am woeful with guitar. Just fun to stir guitarists up a little - they do tend to be a little precious ;) .
Wokks - DB doesn't seem to mind. I think he's happy to drop the boot in when needed :).

so do the saddles work under string tension?
will you have to reintonate everytime you change a string?

Your bridge is amazing DB - I'm completely blown away. It's such a simple concept when you think about it, but yet I've never seen this before anywhere. Simply awesome!

Nick, once everything is finished and the Guitar is intonated I will cut small pieces of Mother Of Pearl sheet to sit either side of the saddles to hold them in place.
Thanx Gav.... It is simple but a real fiddly bugger to make... not sure I would be in too much of a hurry to do it again :)
