Ok awesome. How much do you reckon I'll need for a 2 humbucker 1 volume kit?

So all the hardware is installed except the backing plate for two reason. It a too big and the electronics are still giving me gremlins. But when it works it sounds great. Getting a lot of buzz at the first fret though.
Like the nut is too low?
Nah maybe too high? There is a huge gap from nut to fret board, bridge is all the way in and the action is still pretty high
Solved one gremlin, plugged in everything is noise free, switches all work and coil tap works beautifully. The initial gremlins was a problem with the three way, replaced it for a spare I had and all peachey. But in testing, the tone knob seems to be not toneing. Hmmmmm. Breaking out the soldering iron again.
Andrew, make sure the capacitor on the tone pot is making good contact with the lug and obviously grounded on the back of the pot
Don't you just love guitar wiring?
agreed Pablo, wiring is great when you pull it off first time, its the diagnosing the problem that is a real pain. Think it would be the least favourite part of the build for everyone other than Lozza and Weirdy !
Mate love is the polar opposite to what I feel right now haha. If it's just a simple solder job ill be happy. I'm saving putting the logo on til its all set up and working well. Kind of like the final seal I guess. Seeing as I've had so many dramas with decals etc I've got a sign writer making up a stencil of the logo. That way I can spray it, the stencil is reusable and the final product is thin as, won't react with clears and won't silver on me.
I'd probably be spraying your logo on now Andrew so you have time for it to cure and get a clear coat or 2 over it to protect it
