I really don't go out of my way, they all seem to find me. LOL. Maybe I'm just a serious guitar snob. Yeah, probably that.

haha yeah ok good work Pabs, can't believe this thread has got to 49 pages must be the longest thread on the forum and almost 13000 views !
Oh and one other thing HAPPY BIRTHDAY JROD TODAZ !
Cheers cuz
haha yeah I was chatting to Pest and told him Ugly thread was 48 pages at the time and he asked how big the Beautiful thread was and I said half 24 pages
It must mean there are too many ugly axes around.
I'm surprised DB hasn't posted Mosrites and Icemans in this thread ?
Personally I think Tremonti's guitar is a better looking artist model than the Jackson Mark Morton, but that's just me.

Godwin Guitorgan enough switches and knobs for you now?
that's a ridionkulous amount of knobs and switches
Imagine the rats nest of wires under that pickguard...
yeah that would be a nightmare to lift the pickguard with 4000 wires attached, and imagine troubleshooting a bad connection !
50 pages wow thats a PBG record
Level of soldering difficulty: god.
@ Pabs have to agree Pabs
@ Ben if a LP or SG kit is pro level of soldering this will guaranteed send you psychotic !
The Godwin is bloody awful I posted it way back in the first few pages and if you think it's ugly let me assure you it's far worse to play.
Not obvious in that pic are the segmented frets, 6 individually wired segments on each fret referenced to the associated string and if you are using the organ function and bend a string you get amazing discordance it really is sh1t on a stick
Hey DK haven't seen you on here for a while mate !
Think I remember you posted the Godwin, so the lesson is don't go out of your way to play one by the sounds.
Love the description last 5 words you posted hahah
Gday Wok,
I've been away for a week with the car club nationals so been a bit quiet but looking in to cast a jaded old farts eye over the rabble ;)
Got some great pics in the Victorian high country, the views, roads and villages are sublime, I'll post a pic or two and a vid in the extramural forum from my mates car of the run up Mt Hotham ( the sign said end 60 zone so guess what happened :D )
I reckon the wiring and soldering would be pretty simple.
A smart man would have simply used a PCB. :)
Aw yes weld that accelerator to the floor!
Aha yeah Gav, he could probably do it with his eyes closed!
Hmmmmm I'd love to see DB and Gav wire this up.... Here comes more counselling!
Favourite 5 words of the day!

Music Man St Vincent. I've got a sneaking suspicion it was modelled after Annie's cheek bones.
Hey Fretty that body shape is ugly, neck and headstock don't look too bad. Looks like someone messed with the body shape in a photo editor.
Can't believe DB hasn't put a Mosrite in this thread - or has he ? hahah
Can't remember putting a Mozzie on here...
But I did put one of the ugliest things to ever masquerade as a guitar, the Strawberry Alarmclock... Shudder....
This one is pure bollocks
Attachment 6479
Gotta wonder if the suit came with the guitar?
Attachment 6480
Quad tail pipes???
Attachment 6481
Haha Waz the quad tail pipe V would be fastest flying V in town
haha that's it Waz, we have very similar thinking
yeah Waz I'm a Holden man through and through, huge V8 supercar fan
How about you ? Think we both share the same christian name too !
Some Germans already use my name on their Bass Guitar (Warwick) and happy to use Waz instead.
I have worked in motor dealerships for past 22 odd years and been at a Ford since 2010 but also spent time in Holden camp from 1996 - 2006. Met Craig Lowndes in 1999 not long after his spectacular mishap at Phillip Island and he is a top bloke but currently flying the Red Car flag after Ford snubbed 888 a few years back. Truthfully, there is not much Ford or Holden in the cars we see running around the track compared to the good old production car days.
interesting story Waz, we don't share the same christian name (I'm Warren).
I've followed v8 supercars for most of my life and agree the current cars are all built in the team factories from the floor up.
A really good series going back to the early roots of the sport is

I'm about halfway through season 2 is fairly recent.
We better leave the talk to another thread anyway, keep this one for ugly guitars hahah
I love the modern!
If you want ugly, try the Aust brand Fican
I just threw up in my mouth....
