good luck Muzza, as others have said if the colour of the binding isn't to your liking you can scrape it off. Maybe just do a test on a short piece of binding to see how it goes

Ahhhh knock knock
Muzza...you in there?
I had to go to the 4th page to find out whats happening here:p
Hi Andy. I've still got 3 guitars hanging in my garage and haven't put a finger to any of them in probably 6 weeks or more...
The prime reason for falling off my rocking horse and spitting out my dummy is that I totally lost my enthusiasm due to the time it took for the selected finishes to cure. If I ever make another guitar, I'll be using Feast Watson Proof stains and Tru-Oil. I can't see the logic in spending under an hour working on the guitar, then waiting 5 days to do another hour of work.
I'll get back around to them shortly.
Another distraction is that I've recently joined a band playing bass (lovin' it) and learning a sh#tload of new songs. We rehearse in my studio and when we also got a keyboard player, making us a 6 piece, we couldn't all fit in. Well, not comfortably, but VERY friendly...
So quite a few weeks have been taken up moving the interior wall a metre into the workshop. A metre makes an incredible spatial difference. (all the other band members were "keen to help", but I reckon I only got about 8 man/hours help in total.)
Before... 6 metres long by 3 metres wide. Plenty of space, but too narrow to move around... (Meaning... to get to the fridge!)

After... Now it's 6 metres x 4 metres. I had to lose about a square metre (right hand foreground in the photo) because there's a roller door right behind and I need to be able to use it.

(That's Eddy, the keyboard player.)
Tons of room now...
What a cool space Muzza.
Cheers mate. I like it...
Wow. Thanks for the update Muzza. Yeah look I totally understand, waiting for the finishes etc.
Very cool story and pics. I am very impressed. I'd love to be able to say, I'll just move that wall...then be able to do it.
Its good to hear that you're jamming again. ;)
Great looking room Muzzy. I'm not sure you have enough power points though!!
great space! Good on ya Eddy!
