Ok so it had to happen..... I messed up. I went to do a quick kandy tac coat before leaving for the day.... picked up the wrong can....... (a label had transferred onto this one)

Gamma gold.......

In my haste I wiped it off and now ruined the flake. Luckily I just did the head stock so....

Now tomorrow the plan is to wait until it’s dried and hardened off. Then flat it off, recoat gold, reflake then kandy... with the right colour.

I’m such a duffus.

Totally. There wasn’t even that much swearing!! Just me looking at the can and thinking... that doesn’t look right. Just glad I did the headstock and not the whole body.

Should be easy to fix. I just need to walk away tonight.

This is going to be rad. Big flake sparkle finish is definitely on my to do list.

And the gamma gold will always be in the truss rod cavity just to remind you.

Been getting into the factory at 7am to use the booths. I also love an hour and a half away from work so I can’t say I’m not dedicated.

Then throughout the day. Nipping in and doing a recoat or too.
