I think it sounds awesome! The stereo mod is super cool. I can think of so many ways to apply that...but first I need to learn the basic wiring! Great stuff!!!

Awesome! Well done!
I need to go on the record as being completely incorrect with the weight of the bass. I knew my bathroom scale was wonky.
A very nice 8.6 lbs (4.1 kg for the civilized world) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8db84424f8.jpg
It occurred to me today I never gave these "floating saddles" I made a shot. Strung them up and they work great except the B screw needs to be shortened. I may be going out on a limb here but the bass sounds more crisp unplugged to me like this. Because of the metal bolts and washers they have almost 3x as mass as the other brigde....food for thought I guess.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d99e73062b.jpg
They intonate perfectly, action slightly lower on D and G strings...win/win
I like the look of the old bridge better so it may go back but I feel like I invented something. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d25475f8e2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f43c61af56.jpg
I like the personal touch of your own bridge pieces. Practical and unique.
