Love the colour combos and timbers used on these guitars

Here is that actual guitar in action, the owner is a bit of a collector of 60/70's stuff.

weird looking axe Dedman, I'd much prefer the axe in the front of the top pic !
How about the Mickey Mouse ear logo on the plectrums???
Not my cup of tea either and have to agree with Woks in that if I had to own one it would be the Red one.
This popped up on my Facebook feed.... oh my...
oh my indeed!
BB necks make me feel all sorts of good feels :)
That's a Strat I would want to own.
super nice strat, interesting choice of control knobs though...
tasty strat Bassguy, looks great with double binding, block markers and a tasty veneer
That is just so lovely. It really is a thing of beauty. I have a friend with a 1966 cherry ES-330 with the metal covered dog-ears and I really covet that. I just haven't saved up enough money to buy it from him. But I can't help falling for that style of ES-330 sunburst every time.
love this thread, here's a few that I love...
And a few more...
Love the B&G Little Sister
Cool looking Firebird too.
I agree Waz, love the pinstriping

the explorer acoustic reminded me of this acoustic V
The pinstriped firebird is actually a Kauer Banshee.
Some art-deco goodness.
Some more guitars I want.
Not sure what the double neck firebird is but the one in the first picture with the Gretsch is another Kauer Banshee, love the way they reproduced the colours to make them seem like a set.
On the subject of sets, final picture is the live performance gear for The Dead Weather. must have got a discount from Gretsch for buying in bulk, that's how you do style ladies and gents.
Wow, that acoustic Explorer must sound...... "interesting"...
Ok I'm biased, and I'm expecting disagreement, but I love this.
Don't thinks I've seen a double neck bass before. Interesting!
Now that is a proper double neck for low enders. For me I would have preferred the fretless on top as that neck requires a bit more precision than the fretted one.
So that's for the low end and the lower low end then? Nice looking beastie, but would it not be a tad awkward?
Edit: is it a short scale/s?
Hi Frankie, it looks full 34" scale however the lower fretless neck is set back by about 15mm or so. Probably done that way to provide a bit more clearance near the tuning pegs?
I'm assuming it's a bolt-on, so you can easily swap the necks over to suit your own preference.
You are probably right Simon. The headstock on the Fretless neck is not a typical Fender one and therefore presume this must be a custom job.
I can't look at a double neck bass without thinking of Derek Smalls.
I've posted it elsewhere but it definitely belongs here too.

Wow that Kauer Banshee FB with the gold hardware is awesome. I'll add that to the build inspiration list me thinks.
