Thanks, mate.
Very kind.
Probably... sometimes the other guys sing, but usually me.
I wanted a guitar to match my pants.

Beefy, that is looking great!
Another option for the neck is Titebond. I believe the original one can also be steamed off, and doesn't smell!

1. Mask back of the bridge temporarily so when you slide things around you dont scratch the finish
Temporary floating bridge.
2. Tape bridge and tremolo in place temporarily.
3. Line the strings up from trapeze, over bridge, along neck.
4. Mark trapeze holes on the body. Laminate is not necessarily the centre.

I was bloody stoked.
It plays ok.
The strings dont buzz on any frets.
The strings dont fall off the neck.
Bigsby style trems are still horrible.
I'm waiting on a floating roller bridge which may improve things.
The action is way too high at present, but the neck angle seems good.
Just discovered the vinyl tubing I bought to thread the pots thru wont fit in the holes, so I need to research a new plan
Jeff Sheridan just gave me some great tips from his GR build, so I will test run those soon as I have some time.
Looks awesome Beef! Looking forward to seeing it finished. You planning on putting a demo up? Would be keen to hear how she sounds.
Yeah... I'll give it a blast when all the electronics are in. Probably in a fortnight would be my guess
what a stunner Beef, well done. Think the tubing is 5 or 6mm you need. Should be available from most hardware stores or big green sheds.
Take a pot with you and the tubing should fit snuggly over the shaft.
You must be stoked how its coming along !
it makes it ovr the shaft but wont then come out thru the holes in the body. wall thickness of the tubing is too great
That green plastic coated garden tie wire stuff may be worth a try. Stiff enough to tie onto the pot shaft and stay where you put it, but flexible enough to easily feed through the body. Haven't tried it though...
I use old strings for "fish wire", just black tape em to the pots and pull em in!
