Thanks again guys, still pretty amazed really. Hey Weirdy, if you're reading this, I swapped my .022uf cap out for a Sprague .047mfd in the hopes that I could get the tone control working but still to no avail, any ideas mate?

If you followed that SD wiring diagram then the tone should have a noticeable effect with either cap, so there must be something dodgy. It could be a bad/incorrect connection or possibly even a dead/cooked pot. Maybe post some pics of your wiring in your build diary, specifically how the tone is connected, and the collective intelligence can take a look.Quote:
