Cliff's PB-4 Custom

G'day.

My kits arrived Friday.

Both Custom, both orders mucked up by the language barrier.

I received a 15% discount. (refund)

The PB-4 was supposed to be DPZ-4 without hardware & a Babicz FCH 4 String Bass Bridge – Black & Benson Custom P-Bass(TM) Set - Black covers.

Instead I got a PB-4 kit (hardware included) with a Zebrawood veneer, Babicz FCH 4 String Bass Bridge – Black & Benson Custom P-Bass(TM) Set - Black covers & the Babicz bridge is on back order.

This one is also going to need some work on the veneer before it can be finished.

There is some glue on it & there appears to be pale filler in the black stripes, I'll see if it can be stained.

If I can't get it looking good I have some very nice Black Walnut veneer stashed so I can just thickness this one off & start again.

The 11th 12th & 13th fret are short on the bottom (treble) side, haven't worked out a fix for that yet, I may take a bit off that side of the neck all the way along, it is a tight fit in the body.
If I bugger it up I can get another neck on eBay for $45.
