It took a good while before delivery as it was some custom changes done.
Missed some parts while unpacking but they were shipped asap from Pit Bull, fantastic service i must say.
Anyway, mock build done, and painting will be next step as i still await a new pick guard.
Would be happy with some input in how to set neck correct as there is no stop in the neck pocket.

Schaller tremolo, Dimarzio super distortion in bridge, humbucker from hell in neck and a Seymor Duncan JBJR2 in the middle. CTC pots and Dimarzio 5way switch. In a couple of days pics will come as I put paint on it now, pearl white.
You’ll need to mount the bridge hardware and do a scale length measurement to the bridge saddles. That will tell you how far into the body you need to go.Quote:

Easiest way to do this is to measure the scale length from the nut to the bridge saddles. It should be around 648mm with the saddles in a midpoint position. There will be a certain amount o& adjustment backwards or forwards from that due to intonation on each string.
EDIT: to get this right, you need to mount the bridge, but don’t set the metal anchor pieces until after you’ve done your finish. Instead wrap the individual post ends with masking tape until they sit firmly in the mounting holes, then you can set the bridge against them, clamp your neck on and take measurements from the nut back to the bridge.

Would apreciate if you take time to mesure so i have something to start from.
Slowly making some progress here, vill fit bridge next and then try to get the neck in the right spot.

Hi piece,
I measured up mine as below tonight.
The neck joins the body at the 18th fret at the upper cutaway and at the 20th/ 21st at the bottom.

As near as I can measure it with steel rules, the end of fretboard is 139mm from the centre of the bridge anchors.

I’ve not done a huge amount of work on intonation with this one but it all plays pretty well and rings true.

A word of caution, I notice you have the I company logo on your headstock. Your finish looks great, but if you don’t want admins to delete your photos, edit out the logo, or cover it for your build diary shots.
PBG are very supportive of the build community, but trademark logos etc are a no no for the posts.

This is kind of bad, missaligned holes for the brige make it look... Hrm not so good. Annoying i would say.
Any ideas if something can be done to make it look better?

I guess its possible to redrill, if i could get the poles out again. Any ideas how to do that?
Did little reshape on neck yes.
Going to put it all together to decide if it plays and sound well enough to bother about the bridge.
