Not sure if I'm winning or losing here. Mixture of Copper and gold leaf, rather than paper glue I'm using contact glue to hold it on to make it stronger. Bit of a sticky mess with bits missing, but I like the colour contrast and when all covered with leaf and clear it should come up nice and smooth. We will see...

Well, it seems to have dried OK and is securely attached to the timber. Not sure if I like it, but I'll let it set and see.
Plan is to do the front in USD and have a dollar bill headstock, with all gold hardware.
Not sure why, really. Can't face another timber stain/sunburst or conventional finish I guess........
