It would probably need a longer neck as that one would be 25.5" and short scales are usually 30" which means 4.5" longer and not sure there is enough length from nut to end of body to accommodate? Also, the existing fret positions would be all out of whack too. Easier to keep it as a guitar.
I'm assuming ozzbike is already going to add a 30" neck.
Seems that the body shape would make a great '51 tele bass.
I wasn't keen on the regular tele bass shape.
I'm not sure about the pickup placement though,however if it were me, I'd be painting so filling/routing would be no issue.
Can't find any other reference to 'GS-2Z' in the guitar shop.
