Hey! Ho! Lets go!
Look forward to seeing how this plays out Oli.
What’s the MKA-2 kit based on?

It's based on a Mosrite Ventures Mk II, here's a bit of background, albeit from a company selling knockoffs - https://eastwoodguitars.com/blogs/ne...te-to-sidejack
I’ve been over the forum for a few days and can not find anything on a bleached floor board type finish?
Does anyone know how to achieve something like this???

Not exactly the same but this was my grain popping phase.
Stained with jarrah and sanded it back. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...51c82a9528.jpg
If you can find something a bit greyer then it may achieve what you want to do.
Yours is also ash which will look a lot nicer than mine which is a basswood body
Hey OliSam
It sounds like you're trying to achieve a whitewash finish, here's a video that might help:

Also, to give your grain that grey-ish colour, I suggest filling using something dark like ebony Timber Mate, sanding it back and then whitewashing overtop. Hope this helps!
