Just a though for the OS guys

Given that we now appear to have a few members in a lot of countries around the world maybe it's time for you guys to do a local beer and BS night or two to get to know each other.

While I was still a working man and traveling ( very often ) I always posted on the forums I was a member of to see who I could meet up with and what faces I could put to forum names, to date I have met heaps from my car club forum including a couple of guys from the UK and a few from TDPRI and sadly none yet from here.

Apart from making new friends and possibly jam mates the obvious benefit is pooling purchases to cut down on international shipping costs and shipments for those who wish to save money and the planet ( which I unashamedly do, I have 10 grandkids and 1 great grandie who I would like to inherit a world better than the one I came into in the late 1940s )

I do have a theory dave.king1 that none of the other forum members actually exist. All the members are just the creation of an IT guy in some developing country who is specifically targeting me via a fake website and forum community to buy his guitar kits. So this leads me to three possible scenarios;

1) You don’t exist.
2) You do exist, however none of the other members exist and therefore you have never met them.
3) I don’t exist.

I believe I do exist, however I think my non-existence should be given serious consideration.

I can verify the existence of at least OliSam and myself, I am fairly certain Andy40 exists, else he is a very sophisticated Bot or your IT guy is setting a new benchmark in his role!
Igor will continue to exist for as long as I need to blame someone else for my silly ideas...
