Hi Folks,
here's a review of the JMA-1 I finished earlier this year for my son-in-law.
He was pretty happy with the result ... as you can see.

That. Is. Epic.
I give this review 5 stars out if 3, essentially for the Wee Wee comparison.
Fantastic review effort and a beautiful build, great work!
Nice, great review and lovely sounding guitar.
Excellent.
A really nice guitar, nicely played too. Well done!
Hi !
I heard in the video that you changed some parts and I would like to know if you have sites or models to help me find them too?
Thank you
Hi Volgar,
I built this guitar using the JMA kit, before the JZ kits were available ...
I was aiming to build a replica Jazzmaster, so the 2 main things I needed were the tremelo and the scratchplate/pickup combination.
I was lucky to find someone selling an original Fndr loaded scratchplate on eBay pretty cheap that he'd bought for a project, but never used, which really made my project possible.
I found the tremolo and buzz stopper on eBay too ...
The only other parts I added were strap locks and Grover locking tuners from the Pitbull site.
If I was to do this again I'd start with the JZ kit ... it would have been a lot easier! I had to do a lot of work on the body to make everything fit ...
:-)
GREAT VIDEO! do you have a video of your JB5RF?
