Newbie from Brisbane
Hi,
I've started Two kits back in September for fun, a TL-1 and a SG-1F (although in retrospect I wish I had of got the SG-2, which is more consistent with the look I was after and with a bolt on instead of glue on neck. I think I was swayed by the soldering difficulty descriptions.)
My excuse to the family was they'll be Xmas presents for the kids, and with them helping to make them hopefully they'll mean something a bit more special as time goes by.
I've been checking the forum since I ordered the kits and feeling a bit guilty that I'm not as fastidious in the build as everyone else, but it's supposed to be for fun, not frustration.

Welcome. Keep the excuses coming I need one for my 5th build Its going to be an Awesome Eleanor TL. I have a Vision so it must happen.
Check out my SG-M in the builds diary. It Does Full on Rhythm and blues Rock Like no other Guitar I have ever Heard. Standard pickups through a Peavey VIP3 100w.
It also does an excellent rendition of Africa by Toto played by yours truly. ecou amp setting cmp1 no effects.
