Another noob says: "Hi!"

Hi all!

I've just had my first ever bass kit (JBA-4M) delivered yesterday and I'm excited to start building it! I would also look for guidance to best put together the kit from the pros in this forum. I've been playing bass for about 4 years now and like to do "put together things" projects from time to time, e.g. car stereos, IKEA furnitures, wood floorings, etc, so I thought it's time to dabble in guitar building (plus it seems like FUN and the real fender bass is waaay over my budget).

My plan for the kit is to put a string-through-body bridge & ferrules, dye/stain the body purple, upgrade the pickup and (maybe) the control plate in the future.

Really excited to be part of this forum! :D
